I am a PhD candidate from Kyungpook National University, Artificial Intelligence Robot Laboratory. Starting my career in artificial intelligent robots.
Nice to Meet You
I have been privileged to get all my tertiary education supported by scholarships.
Starting with my five years bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, under the support of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Local Scholarship Scheme (LSS), through a ranking system that emerged as top ten in my set.
Despite studying mechanical engineering, my passion for robotics inspired my robotics related undergraduate project. Thus paving way for my Masters degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering under the sponsorship of the Pharco Pharmaceutical at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Egypt. E-JUST exposed me to both project-based learning and the theory of robotics and artificial intelligence.
Afterwards, I moved to South Korea four years ago to study for my Doctorate degree in robot and smart systems engineering under the Kyungpook National University International Graduate Scholarship (KINGS). KINGS supported for my tuition fees during my two years of course work.
Since I have been in South Korea, I have been researching at the artificial intelligence robot laboratory (AIR). Specifically on multidisciplinary applications of deep reinforcement learning (RL), such as robotics, gaming and agriculture, with scholarly articles. I have also taken up teaching assistantship in various subjects, both for undergraduate and graduate classes.
Through my studies, I have developed a passion for LABoratory TO Product (LABTOP) pursuits in robotics, and artificial intelligence.
As an avid coder, I enjoy relaxing with code. I still have a passion for travel and hope to visit a new country every year. I'm always open to new experiences, cultures, and ways of thinking.
